10 Day Best of Uganda Gorilla safari

After breakfast, you will have Morning walk to get close to wildlife such as Zebras, Impalas, Girraffe and proceed with an en-route game drive and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, passing through several towns such as Mbarara, and Ntungamo with beautiful landscapes and views of the plantations and hills, you will arrive at the lodge in the evening and check in at the lodge have dinner and overnight

After breakfast you will drive to the park headquarters for a briefing about the dos and don’ts during trekking and later start your gorilla trekking experience, the journey can last between 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on the location of the gorilla family you will choose to trek, Once you find these gorillas you will spend one hour observing their behaviors and taking photos and later return to the park headquarters to receive your gorilla trekking certificates to confirm a successful gorilla trekking in Uganda and later return to the lodge for relaxation and overnight

You will have breakfast you will embark on your vehicle, bid farewell to the lodge and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in time for lunch You will check in at the lodge for lunch followed by relaxation and later depart for a game drive for chances of spotting a variety of wildlife such as waterbucks, Warthogs, Antelopes, herds of Buffaloes to mention but a few, you will later drive back at the lodge for dinner and overnight

You will have an early morning game drive in Kasenyi for chances to spot a diversity of wildlife, on a lucky day you may spot lions and leopards while on your game drive, you will later return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation, and you will later have an afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel that connects lake Edward and Lake George, you will have a chance of spotting diverse wildlife such as hippopotamus, crocodiles, Buffaloes, Elephants along the banks not forgetting a variety of bird species, you will later return to the lodge for relaxation and overnight. Note that you can also do a night game drive at an extra cost

On this day you will start your last game drive to see some of the animals you may have missed the previous dayanf later bid farewell to the lodge and drive to Kibale national park . upon arrival at the lodge, you will be warmly received and ushered into your room , you will have dinner in the evening to seal your day

You will start this day with breakfast and then drive to the park to start trekking. When you arrive at the park, you will be briefed by the rangers on the whole process of chimpanzee tracking. You will then start your activity escorted by the park rangers. Once you find the chimpanzees you will be allowed one hour with them. Once this is done, you will be rewarded with a certificate for participating. After this you will be taken back to the lodge for Lunch . The afternoon will be spent relaxing at the lodge and then you will have your dinner to end your day

Drive to Murchison Falls National Park through the scenic countryside and small towns, villages and great views of the escarpment. You will have several stops along the way and lunch en route and later proceed to Murchison Falls National Park, you will have a stop at the top od the falls for the scenic views and later proceed through the Park. You will be welcomed by the staff at the lodge and chek in at the lodge for relaxation followed by dinner and overnight
Drive time: Approximately 6-7 hours drive

After an early morning cup of coffee, you will be transfered to the Northern section of the park which is popularly known as Paraa for your morning game drive. Paraa comes from a local dialect of the Luo community which means a place of Hippos. In deed this game drive will provide you with an opportunity to spot wild game that may include, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, hippos and if you are lucky you will spot cats such as lions and leopards. You will return to the lodge for a lunch break before you proceed to the pier for your two hour boat cruise to the bottom of the magnificent Murchison Falls where you will be able to spot several schools of Hippos as well as be able to witness how the River Nile water squeezes itself in a narrow gorge only to later explode out giving you an experience of a lifetime. You will later transfer to the lodge for relaxation dinner and overnight

You will start this day with breakfast at the lodge and then check out. You will have a stop at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking and later proceed your journey to Kampala/ Entebbe, you will have a stop along the way for lunch and later proceed to your hotel/ airport for drop off to end the tour
